Welcome To JustPreachers
Just Preachers began as a way of honing my writing skills and supporting my desire to prophetically engage the issues of the day. It ultimately became a stronger possibility to not only engage my voice, but those of like-minded preachers of the gospel. Our aim is to equip interested clergy and lay leaders, empower believers, and encourage a resurgence in prophetic preaching that critiques the social inequalities of the day. The primary source of our work is rooted in the social gospel of Jesus Christ and His work on behalf of the poor, marginalized, incarnated and oppressed. The material on this website is original to Reverend Dr. K. A. Slayton, though guest theologians will have editorial access from time to time. Should other contributors post go beyond our editing, we will indicate that, either by using the “author” feature of each post or by stating it within the post itself.
Additionally, JustPreachers offers the thoughts and insights of authors who have published books that fit the distinction of being considered Prophetic in nature. These interviews will expose the readers to the thoughts and inspiration of writers dedicated to the liberation of God’s people via the gospel of Jesus Christ. We will call these interviews JustTalk.

Words From Friends
Rev. Dr. Kevin Slayton is a gifted speaker who is able to creatively combine profound theological truths with pragmatic real world action plans. We were blessed to have him share his wisdom and insights with us during our inaugural Public Theology Conference.
Dr. Slayton understands that 21st Century Ministry demands the preacher use social media. It is as important today as the invention of the printing press in previous generations. I believe that if you are not doing something on social media you aren’t being heard.
Rev. Slayton, Thanks so much for coming today and standing in the line of fire. . . .You said these things would happen-funny how people forget that. Anyway, I have a tremendous amount of respect for you and find you to be a God lead man full of integrity.
